Our Approach

More Than Transportation

We understand that dialysis patients often need more than transportation to and from treatment. They need consistent support, monitoring, assistance, and trained caregivers who understand renal care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Renal Care FAQ

Do you perform dialysis treatments?

No. CareNexus does not perform dialysis treatments. We provide expert, attentive support before, during, and after dialysis sessions — monitoring vitals, ensuring safety, assisting with mobility, and giving families peace of mind. Our caregivers work in coordination with your dialysis center and clinical team.

What hours are caregivers available?

Our caregivers are available 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer flexible scheduling based on your dialysis treatment times and home care needs — whether you need a few hours of post-treatment monitoring or around-the-clock support.

Are your caregivers trained in renal care?

Yes. All caregivers assigned to renal support cases receive specialized training in renal diet guidelines, fluid monitoring, post-dialysis safety protocols, and recognizing complications. Our team includes CNAs, PCAs, and RN supervisors with experience in dialysis patient care.

How do you coordinate with my dialysis center?

We work closely with your dialysis center's care team to ensure seamless continuity. Our caregivers can attend care planning meetings, communicate directly with your dialysis nurse, and document observations that are shared with your clinical team. We become an extension of your existing care network.

What is the cost of renal support services?

Pricing varies based on the level of care, frequency of visits, and clinical complexity. We provide transparent estimates after a free consultation. Many families find that our services reduce hospital readmissions and emergency visits, making the investment worthwhile. Contact us for a personalized care plan and pricing.

Do you accept insurance or Medicaid?

We currently accept private pay and long-term care insurance. Medicaid services are coming soon. Contact our office to discuss payment options and verify coverage for your specific situation.
